Kent Street & Novar Street Intersections Upgrades Project

Scope of works | The scope of works includes but is not limited to the following:
– Demolition of existing concrete and asphalt pavements
– Bulk earthworks including topsoil strip, clearing, and grubbing and disposal of excess spoil
– Installation of underground services including stormwater, subsoils and conduits
– Protection of existing underground water and gas services by the introduction of protection slabs
– Bridgeworks including demolition of the existing kerbs and shared path, reconstruction of new concrete shared path, introduction of new handrails and balustrades, introducing a new waterproof membrane to the bridge deck, and modification to the existing bridge lighting.
– Construction of flexible pavements
– Construction of concrete footpaths and kerbs
– Incidental works including stone pitching, and mortared stone walls
– Installation of road furniture including guard rails
– Installation of traffic signals including traffic signal controllers and CCTV cameras
– Installation and modification of streetlighting
– Soft landscaping including topsoiling, grassing and garden beds
– Traffic control devices including signs and pavement markings
– Remediation of all disturbed areas
