In 2010 Cord Civil upgraded the intersection of Ginninderra Drive and Allawoona Street at the entrance of the University of Canberra.
The scope of works included construction of a large box culvert structure, stormwater construction, relocation of street lighting, traffic signals deep lift asphalt and traffic management.

Cord Civil received a Master Builders & Boral Award – 2011 Merit in the category of Civil projects $1M – $5M for this project.
