Background

The company has been operating in the ACT and southern NSW region since 1993. Originally focusing on hire of plant to the industry, Cord Civil has grown substantially into a civil contracting company with over seventy full time staff.

Our strong growth has been as a result of consistently delivering quality works both on time and on budget to a high level of safety. Over the years, we have developed and implemented an integrated management system that ensures our work health and safety, quality and environmental obligations are not only met but continue to be monitored and improved upon.

In 2002 Cord Civil achieved third party certification of the Quality Management System and has since also achieved third party accreditation for the Work Health and Safety Management system and Environmental Management system with Globalmark.

Management Systems

We continue to refine our Management System to suit our industry and are regularly audited internally as well as by government bodies, clients and Globalmark to ensure the system’s compliance with current legislation and international standards is maintained.

The systems, along with the demonstrated experience of the Cord Civil team, has enabled Cord Civil to not only attain National Prequalification to R4 B2 F15 but maintain this prequalification for tendering nationally.
